Concluding Remarks:
Heywood Rural Health is a small rural hospital/aged care
facility.
Our board and staff are very proud of what we have achieved
over the last decade, especially in regard to the development
of our aged care and community based services.
We endeavour to provide the best care and support to our
clients, who are mostly aged care persons.
While we are a small organisation we place great emphasis
on maintaining and improving the quality of our services,
and treating each other fairly.
We invest heavily in staff education and are always looking
at improved ways/equipment to provide this care.
Our acute Hospital section is accredited under the Australian
Council on Healthcare Standards program, and our aged care
sections are accredited under the Commonwealth Aged care accreditation
programs.
Over the last three financial years our organisation has
returned reasonable financial results that is contributing
to growing financial stability at Heywood Rural Health.
